Aligarh Muslim University Alumnus, Dr Mohammad Abbas Khan has brought laurels to his Alma mater after graduating with flying colours, among the top of his class at the Boston University School of Dental Medicine, USA for Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD).
A delegation of Aligarh Muslim University’s Alumni Association and Old Boys today met with the AMU Vice Chancellor, Professor Tariq Mansoor to greet him for recently taking over the charge as the University Vice Chancellor.
During the meeting, the visiting Alumni and Old Boys expressed their happiness on the Vice Chancellor’s decision of introducing ‘five-days- a-week’ work schedule from the beginning of Varsity’s new academic session. They also thanked the Vice Chancellor for revoking the suspension orders of at least two teachers.

Eminent actor and Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) Alumnus, Mr Naseer Uddin Shah will deliver the Professor Zahida Zaidi Memorial lecture in AMU on May 4, 2017.
The lecture will take place at the Varsity’s Kennedy Hall Auditorium at 12 noon on May 4. AMU’s Cultural Education Centre (CEC) under the aegis of Professor F S Sherani, Coordinator, CEC is organising the lecture.
The Aligarh Muslim University today signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Mr Mohd Nadeem Hussain, CEO, M. H. Exports and a distinguished alumnus of the AMU, who has pledged donations for the construction of a 228-bedded hostel for the boarders of the Syedna Saifuddin Tahir School. AMU Registrar signed the MoU from University’s side in the presence of the Vice Chancellor, Lt Gen Zameer Uddin Shah (Veteran).

The Training and Placement Office (General), Aligarh Muslim University recently helped to conduct the orientation session of Aligarh Open University Programme, in which AMU alumni will mentor the AMU students with online training and guidance to help build their careers.
