It was walking down the memory lane for Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) alumni from different parts of the world as they reconnected with their alma mater at the Sir Syed Bicentenary AMU Alumni Meet—2017. The two-day meet began on October 15, 2017 at the university’s Kennedy Auditorium and will conclude with a valedictory function on October 16, 2017.

Eminent actor and Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) Alumnus, Mr Naseer Uddin Shah will deliver the Professor Zahida Zaidi Memorial lecture in AMU on May 4, 2017.
The lecture will take place at the Varsity’s Kennedy Hall Auditorium at 12 noon on May 4. AMU’s Cultural Education Centre (CEC) under the aegis of Professor F S Sherani, Coordinator, CEC is organising the lecture.
The Aligarh Muslim University today signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Mr Mohd Nadeem Hussain, CEO, M. H. Exports and a distinguished alumnus of the AMU, who has pledged donations for the construction of a 228-bedded hostel for the boarders of the Syedna Saifuddin Tahir School. AMU Registrar signed the MoU from University’s side in the presence of the Vice Chancellor, Lt Gen Zameer Uddin Shah (Veteran).
