Neonatal Section, Department of Paediatrics, Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College (JNMC), Aligarh Muslim University conducted the Divisional NNF Post Graduate (PG) Quiz in Neonatology in which Dr Nishant Tomar and Dr Joyti Kandpal (LLRM Medical College, Meerut) won the first prize while Dr Aditi Das and Dr Mohd Aslam Nadeem (Department of Paediatrics, JNMC) came second.

Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) has more reasons to cheer. In an interaction with the media, AMU Vice Chancellor, Professor Tariq Mansoor has announced that the varsity’s Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College (JNMC) has got projects worth Rs 23 crores for various departments including the Department of Paediatric Cardiology.
He also confirmed that proposals for the establishment of a college of nursing and an institute of pharmacology in the university have been sent to the government.
