Dr Orus Ilyas Makes Oral Presentation At International Mammological Congress, Perth

Dr Orus Ilyas, Assistant Professor, Department of Wildlife Sciences, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) made an oral presentation on "Ecology of Gaur (Bos Gaurus) in highlands of central India: A case study of Pench Tiger Reserve, Madhya Pradesh (India)’’ at the 12th International Mammological Congress in Perth, Australia.  

Her presentation is based on a project sponsored by the DST-SERB, Government of India.

 The Vice Chancellor of Aligarh Muslim University, Lt. Gen. (Retd.) Zameer Uddin Shah inaugurated the International Training Hostel and Centre for Biodiversity Studies in the Department of Wildlife Sciences Conservation Monitoring Centre.

Former AMU Vice Chancellor, Mr. Naseem Ahmad, Administrator, Haryana Waqf Board was the guest of honour.
