The Senior Secondary School (Girls) of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) organised a Career Guidance and Counselling Workshop to guide students for making the right decisions in choosing their careers.
While conducting the workshop, Mr Saad Hameed (Training and Placement Officer, AMU) urged students to broaden their horizon for making their marks in careers most suited to them.
The Centre for Distance Education (CDE), Aligarh Muslim University concluded a one-week workshop on “Perception and Communication Skills” yesterday.
Dr. Adriana Ortega from Venezuela provided hands-on training to the participants.
Dr. Ortega shared her experiences trainer which she attaind while visiting more than 10 countries as a communication skill trainer.
Professor, Khaliq Ahmad, Former Dean and Senior Professor at Institute of Islamic Banking and Finance, IIUM, Malaysia, who is also Aligarh Muslim University alumnus, recently, delivered a lecture on ‘Islamic perspective of Leadership and motivation’ at the Conference Hall, Department of Commerce.
During the lecture, Prof Ahmad deciphered the connotations involved in low context societies and high context societies.
The Department of Commerce, Aligarh Muslim University is organizing an International Conference on “Make in India Campaign for Inclusive Growth: Initiatives and Challenges” on January 4-5, 2016.
Prof. M. Mohsin Khan, Dean, Faculty of Commerce said that more than 250 delegates are expected to participate in the Conference from India and abroad including Japan, UK and Sweden. The conference will provide an opportunity to the participants to share the growth models of their respective countries with other participants.
