Professor Shabahat Husain associated with the Department of Library and Information Science; Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) recently attended two-days International Conference in Singapore. He attended the Conference in his capacity as the President of Indian Library Association.

The Cultural Education Center (CEC) of the Aligarh Muslim University, in collaboration with the Indian Society of Theatre Research (ISTR), the Indian Chapter of International Federation for Theatre Research, is organizing the three-day "XIII International Conference of Indian Society for Theatre Research" from January 23-25, 2017 on "Travelling Performances and Theatre Cultures: Asserting the Praxis, Paradigms and Perspectives".
The Department of Linguistics, Aligarh Muslim University in collaboration with the Indian Council for Social Science Research will start a three-day International Conference on ‘Mediatization, Culturalization and Language Alteration’ from January 5, 2017.

Professor Javed Alam, Department of Civil Engineering, Aligarh Muslim University has returned after participating in the ‘Hydro-2016 International’, 21st International Conference on Hydraulics, Water Resources and Coastal Engineering held at Pune, Maharashtra. He had presented a paper on ‘Scour Depth Prediction at Bridge Abutments in Cohesive Bed Using Group Method of Data Handling’ during the Conference.
The Aligarh Muslim University is going to organize a five day long International Conference on the theme ‘The Ganga River-Past, Present and Future’ from February 13 to 17, 2016 at New Delhi, the National Capital to showcase the very purpose of the Conference at international level. The AMU administration has requested India International Centre, Indira Gandhi National Centre for Arts, National Museum Institute and Indian Council of Historical Research, New Delhi to be the Co-Sponsors.
Dr. Nadeem Khalil, Department of Civil Engineering, Aligarh Muslim University has been appointed as the member of the Organizing Committee of an International Conference on “Innovations in Sustainable Water and Wastewater Treatment Systems”, which is being jointly organized by the Ministry of Water Resources and Ganga Rejuvenation and International Water Association, United Kingdom on April 21-23, 2016 at Pune.
