A team of doctors of Department of Neurosurgery, JN Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University has successfully removed a brain tumour through nose with the help of endoscopic method. Raisan, a 30 years old female suffering from headache, visual disturbances and progressive increase in body size, was operated at the Medical College.

Dr. Manzoor Ahmad, Assistant Professor in Department of Surgery, J. N. Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University, has been selected for a two year training and fellowship programme in Urology at prestigious Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham, UK. He completed his MBBS and MS in General Surgery from J.N. Medical College and received DNB from National Board of Examination, New Delhi, and MRCS from Glasgow, UK.
The Department of Anaesthesiology, Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College (JNMC) and ‘Critical Care’ today organised a day-long Symposium-cum-Workshop on the role of ‘Ultrasonography in Regional Anaesthesia and Pain Management’.
The Department of Radiotherapy, JN Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University organized a road side camp at Ramghat road to commemorate the World Cancer Day. The aim was to raise awareness about prevention and treatment of cancer amongst the general public and to develop practical strategies to address the cancer burden.
In accordance with the theme of this year ‘We Can, I Can’, it was emphasized that every individual could play an important role in reducing the global burden of cancer, which was continuously increasing.

Hall and in the CMO Room of Casualty at JN Medical College on 23rd May last, which was reported by a PhD student, Mohd. Shahanshah Khan and a resident member of Aftab Hall, Tausif Alam.
