AMU Faculty Visits University Of Aberdeen, UK

Professor Altaf Ahmad, Department of Botany, Aligarh Muslim University, under India-UK senior fellowship, visited the University of Aberdeen, UK where he worked on Genome-Wide Association Mapping (GWAS) of rice genotypes using a Biolinux operating system.

Prof Ahmad also delivered two lectures on “Genetically Encoded FRET-Based Nanosensors, A tool for measuring metabolites in living cells” and “Proteome analysis of nitrogen-efficient and nitrogen-inefficient wheat varieties at low N and elevated C02”.
