The Indo-US APJ Abdul Kalam Centre of Excellence for STEM Education and Research, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) in partnership with the Ohio State University (OSU), USA today started a two-day workshop on ‘Women in STEM Roadshows’ at the Women’s College Auditorium.
University Grants Commission Human Resource Development Center (UGC HRDC), Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) organized a training program and workshop on ‘Right to Information for Capacity Building of University CPIOs’ at the University Polytechnic auditorium.
Professor Abdur Raheem Kidwai (Course Director) said that it was an opportunity for CPIOs to learn various provisions of RTI Act. He added that the programme was not possible without the support of AMU Vice Chancellor, Professor Tariq Mansoor and Professor Javaid Akhter (AMU Registrar).
The Centre for Women's Studies, Aligarh Muslim University, organized a one-day workshop on 'Gender Sensitization and Legal Advocacy', in coordination with ‘Humsafar’, a Lucknow based support centre for women in crisis. Ms. Richa Rastogi and Ms. Mamata Sharma were the resource persons at the workshop.
