To curb the menace of ragging and to make students aware of their rights, the Department of Physical Education, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) organised a legal workshop on ‘Ragging and University Traditions.’
The Students Counselling Centre, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) today started a seven-day workshop on ‘Life Skills Development through Counselling’ with a participation of over 100 research scholars and assistant professors from AMU and other colleges and universities.
The Training and Placement Office (General) in collaboration with the Faculty of Management Studies and Research organized a one-day workshop on ‘Explore Skills, Find Job’. Mr Azam Siddiqui (founder and chief mentor, The Masters Lab, New Delhi) conducted the workshop.
The Centre for Sophisticated Instruments Facility (USIF), Aligarh Muslim University recently organised a one-day Workshop on ‘Flow Cytometry and its Applications’. The Workshop was supported by Beckman Coulter, India.

The Workshop was organised in collaboration with the British High Commission and University Grants Commission Human Resource Development Centre (UGC HRDC), AMU. AMU Vice Chancellor, Lt General Zameer Uddin Shah (Veteran) inaugurated the Workshop.
The Department of Electrical Engineering, Zakir Husain College of Engineering and Technology, Aligarh Muslim University, today organized a week long Workshop on "Biomedical Engineering: Insight and Signal Processing" under the aegis of Global Initiative of Academic Networks (GIAN).
Inaugurating the workshop, Professor A.L. Vyas, Professor Emeritus, IIT Delhi, said that organizing such workshops on biomedical engineering would be highly benefited for the students as well as for the Researchers.
