Mass Communication Department, AMU has all the necessary and state-of-the-art facilities that are required to study this subject. The administration is actively engaged in making the Department of Mass Communication one of the best in Aligarh Muslim University.

 

Department of Mass Communication, AMU offer only Postgraduate and Research courses. There are no Bachelor level courses offered by the Mass Communication Department, AMU. However, the department also offers 1 - year P.G. Diploma in Public Relations & Journalism.  

 

The faculty at Mass Communication Department, Aligarh Muslim University has been instrumental in encouraging students to understand and adapt to the international level of expertise in video making and journalism. As a result the students of this department have won many national level awards in video production. The teachers are always focused towards honing the skills of the students in various specializations.

 

Mass Communication Department, AMU boasts a fantastic seminar library that has about 2000 books. These books are from the different area of Mass Media and Mass Communication. In addition to this the library also has many journals that are being subscribed to cater to the needs of the students.
