AMU Conducts Swatchhta Hi Seva drives

The Maulana Azad Library, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) organised a cleanliness drive to observe the ‘Swatchhta Hi Seva’ (Cleanliness as Service) as part of the nation-wide ‘Swatchhta Pakwada’ in the varsity’s library premises and adjoining areas.

Dr Nabi Hasan (AMU Librarian) said it is a duty to keep work places and neighbourhoods clean for maintaining good health.

Meanwhile, the Sayyid Hamid Senior Secondary School (Boys) planted tree saplings in the school premises to observe a tree-plantation drive as a part of the ‘Swatchhta Hi Seva’ campaign. Major S M Mustafa (Principal), Mr Ghufran Ahmad (Press Coordinator), Mr Habib Ahmad, Dr Sartaj Ali Tiyagi, Mr Ashhad Jamal, Mr Sabahuddin and Dr Naila Rashid led the campaign.
