AMU Faculty Attends WHO Meeting
Dr. Nafis Faizi, Assistant Professor in the Department of Community Medicine, JN Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University attended the World Health Organization Executive Board (WHO EB-142) meeting at WHO Headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland.
 
As a part of Global Health Watch team, Dr Faizi represented Medicus Mundi International Network (MMI) and People’s Health Movement (PHM) in the meeting. He also presented the Global Health Watch 5 to the WHO Director General, Dr Tedros Adhanam, on behalf of the People’s Health Movement. The Global Health Watch is considered as the definitive source for alternative analysis on Health.
 
In the board meeting, Dr. Faizi read out statements on Draft GPW, mHealth and FENSA on behalf of MMI and PHM. The WHO Watch team also prepared policy briefs, statements and daily reports on the EB meeting, which are accessible at http://www.ghwatch.org/node/45526.
 
The meeting was preceded by a workshop on WHO Watch by PHM and a presentation and meeting with Geneva Global Health Hub (G2H2).
