AMU Faculty Members Get Prestigious Fellowship

Dr. Rashid Ali, Associate Professor, Department of Computer Engineering and Dr. Samar Ansari, Assistant Professor, Department of Electronics Engineering, Aligarh Muslim University have been bestowed the prestigious “Young Faculty Research Fellowship” by the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology, Government of India. The Fellowship would initially be awarded for a period of 2 years and continuation of the fellowship for a further period up to 5 years would be subjected to their satisfactory performance.

Under the fellowship, both the fellows would get an amount of Rs. 20,000/- per month each along with a contingency/research grant of Rs. 5 lakh per annum for covering research expenses and presenting papers and research work at national and international conferences.

Prof. M. M. Sufyan Beg, Principal, Z.H. College of Engineering and Technology has congratulated the above faculty members wishing them a bright future. Dr. Rashid Ali completed his Ph.D. under Prof. Beg’s supervision.
