Faculty Of Management Studies And Research Organise Workshop On Explore Skills, Find Job

The Training and Placement Office (General) in collaboration with the Faculty of Management Studies and Research organized a one-day workshop on ‘Explore Skills, Find Job’. Mr Azam Siddiqui (founder and chief mentor, The Masters Lab, New Delhi) conducted the workshop.

Mr Siddiqui discussed the success stories of Mozart Symphony, Steve Martin and Steve Jobs while explaining students on how to find their skills. He also explained how Josh Kaufman's ‘The First 20 hours’ and Jim Collins's ‘Hedge Hog Model’ can be useful in exploring strengths and in creating unique advantages.

Mr Siddiqui offered to conduct a follow up workshop focused on developing skills for successful careers.

Prof Parvaiz Talib (Dean, Faculty of Management Studies and Research) introduced the guests, while Mr Saad Hameed, TPO (General) proposed the vote of thanks.  Prof Jamal A Farooquie was also present on the occasion.
