Kishanganj Centre Hosts 68th Van Mahotsav

The Kishanganj Centre, Aligarh Muslim University hosted the 68th Van Mahotsav organised by the Environment and Forest Department, Araria, Bihar and 50 trees were planted at the Chakla Land by the guests attending the programme.  

Presiding over the programme, Prof Raashid Nehal, Director, AMU Kishanganj Centre proposed a massive plantation drive in the vacant land owned by the AMU Kishanganj Centre with the help of Environment and Forest Department, Araria.

Thanking the guest, Mr Pankaj Dixit, IAS, DM, Kishanganj, discussed global warming and spelt out how massive plantation drive can protect the environment.

While Mr D K Das, DFO, Araria attended the programme as the convenor, Mr Ramji Shah, ADM, Kishanganj was also present as a special guest.
