ProQuest Awards AMU For Highest Database Usage

In a new accolade which distinguishes research standards of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) from other institutions, ProQuest, an American publisher has awarded the varsity for the highest International Theses Database known as PQDT (ProQuest Theses and Dissertation) usage during the year 2015-16.

Dr Nabi Hasan, Librarian, Maulana Azad Library, AMU has received the award from Mr Sanjay Rajan of the ProQuest.

In a message after receiving the award, Dr Hasan has expressed happiness and gratitude. He added that AMU Library will be conducting regular workshops and orientations in various faculties, departments and the library to increase the usage of other resources being made available through Maulana Azad Library.

Dr Hasan pointed out that these workshops will immensely help in motivating and encouraging research and academic contributions of the AMU Community.

PQDT is globally followed and is one of the most important USA based research database for Theses and Dissertations. It is widely consulted by AMU faculty and Researchers.
