Science Refresher Course Organized by CPS

Addressing the valedictory function of the Refresher Course in Science for teachers of Muslim Managed Schools and Madrasas organized by the Centre for
Promotion of Science, Aligarh Muslim University, Prof. Abida Malik said that the course would enhance the prospects of teaching of science in the Muslim managed schools. She said such courses are essential for upgrading teaching skill of the teachers who come from far flung areas. She hoped that teachers will be able to teach their students in more effective way.

Former Dean, Faculty of Engineering & Technology, Prof. Rashid Hayat said that the teachers should be aware of the latest researches and findings and teach their pupils in an intelligent manner so that their power of inquisitiveness increases and they excel in their studies. The Director of Centre for Promotion of Science, Dr. Fatima Shujatullah said that during the course, teachers have been taught to teach science subjects in an effective and persuasive manner in order to develop interest in students. Teacher from 44 Muslim Managed Schools and Madrasas from different parts of the country participated in the two-weeks long refresher course.
