Workshop Held On Intellectual Property
The Training and Placement Office (General), Aligarh Muslim University organised a one day workshop on 'Career in Intellectual Property Laws in India, Career in Taxation Laws in India, Soft Skills of a Good Lawyer and Career Options available to a Law Graduate', in collaboration with the Training and Placement Office, Department of Law under Project Abhimanyu.
On this occasion, Prof. Javaid Talib, Dean, Faculty of Law said that he intended to make Training and Placement Office as platter for budding law graduates to join law and justice administration.
Prof Iqbal Ali Khan, Chairman, Department of Law said that he wished to forge meaningful relations under Project Abhimanyu to chart out programme for internship and placement.
Prof. Zafar Nomani, Training and Placement Officer, Law, remarked that Project Abhimanyu is well sought after partner in heralding goals of justice, education and inclusive growth in India.
Mr. Saad Hameed, TPO (General) said that Law department’s placement matter was on his priority and he expected to come on age in globalised and competitive world.
Mr. Ramaswamy, Chief Mentor, underlined the importance of soft skill development in charting out professional advancement besides making audience aware about challenges and opportunities in Intellectual Property law and enforcement.
Tanjana Rai, Mentor of Project Abhimanyu dwelt on the objectives of the project and culled out new horizons of legal profession. Mr. Saurabh Kumar highlighted the prospects of taxation, litigation and advocacy in the current monetary and fiscal environment of country.
Ms. Arshi Salauddin, Representative of Project Abhimanyu and student coordinator, Training and Placement Office proposed a vote of thanks.
The programme was attended by research scholars and students of BALLB and LLM.
