The Training and Placement Office (General), Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) organised ‘Majestro 1.0’ workshop series ’17 on ‘latest and in demand IT technologies, cloud computing with big data Hadoop’ at the Assembly Hall of Z H College of Engineering and Technology (ZHCET).
Department of Mass Communication and British High Commission, New Delhi, in collaboration with the UGC Human Resource Development Centre, Aligarh Muslim University, today inaugurated a two-day workshop on “Skill Enhancement of Indian Language Journalists” in the Cultural Hall of the Maulana Azad Library.

The Department of Fine Arts, Aligarh Muslim University in collaboration with the National Lalit Kala Akademi, Regional Centre, Uttar Pradesh today inaugurated a one-week Workshop, ‘Artist in Residency’.
Professor Azarmi Duhkt Safavi, who attended the function as the Guest of Honour said like poets, even artists have a pivotal role in promoting humanity and peace with their work. Comparing fine arts with poetry, Prof Safavi further said that often fine art is inspired by poetry.
Er Abdul Jabbar recently took over the charge of Workshop Superintendent, Department of Mechanical Engineering, Z H College of Engineering and Technology, Aligarh Muslim University. Er Jabbar did his B Tech in Mechanical Engineering from AMU in 1996 and later worked with the NSIC as a Deputy Manager.
The Maulana Azad Library, Aligarh Muslim University today began a week-long training course cum workshop on ‘Conservation of Manuscripts and Archival Material’.
The training course cum workshop is being organized by the Heritage Cell in collaboration with the Maulana Azad Library.
