Aimed at engaging Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) students in the Government's cleanliness drive, the University Vice Chancellor, Professor Tariq Mansoor has taken a lead among public universities by approving the implementation of Swachh Bharat Summer Internship (SBSI) programme.
Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) Vice Chancellor, Professor Tariq Mansoor released ‘Fundamentals and Applications of Heavy Ion Collisions’ during a special function at his office. The book, which has been published by Cambridge University Press, is authored by Prof R Prasad and Prof B P Singh from the Department of Physics, AMU.
The Department of Paediatric Surgery, Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College (JNMC), Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) has entered the Guinness World Record Book by successfully performing laparoscopic cholecystectomy on a 244-days old girl, surpassing the previous record of the surgery on a 271-days-old infant.
Dr Rizwan Ahmad Khan, Chairperson of the Department diagnosed the patient with gallstone disease before performing the laparoscopic procedure with his team which included Dr Danish. The girl has been discharged after recovery.
